Anna Razumovskaya
Anna Razumovskaya, an American artist, expertly captures the lyrical enchantment of renaissance portraiture through her classic figurative forms. What sets her work apart is its modern and original quality.
Anna draws her inspiration from the delicate beauty of the female figure, encompassing both timeless allure and subtle charm with a hint of boldness. Her work radiates a strong sense of romanticism, brought to life through her dynamic and passionate brushstrokes and distinctive use of vivid color. This artistic approach is what makes her style easily distinguishable and captivating.
Anna toured Europe extensively, immersing herself in the works of both current and past artists, before eventually establishing herself in Toronto, Canada where she currently resides and creates. She was particularly drawn to portraitists from the late 19th Century such as John Singer Sargent, as well as earlier masters like Peter Paul Rubens and Rembrandt.
Her artistic talents flourished while attending multiple European art schools in Germany, Belgium, and Holland. The opportunity to explore various mediums and hone her skills freely was a joy for her. Now based in Toronto, she has held numerous solo exhibitions in prominent cities such as New York, Paris, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, Mayfair, and across the UK. She has also been featured in a collector's book titled "Anna Razumovskaya: Romantic Realist."
Anna's work is greatly esteemed and sought after, with numerous pieces gracing private collections around the world.
